the road im on

taking my steps wisely

i walked this broken path.

not always skipping whats in my way

but never holding back.

 

to the other side of the mountain

i fled.

taking the pieces left of me

and traveling until my death.

 

don't try and stop me.

im not willing to.

ill keep going, and going

till the road im on

is done and through.

This is amazing! I know this feeling, the wish to get away. Never have left though, heh... My favorite stanza is the first.
