5 flower petals

i hold this flower...

in my soft warm hand

the petals will fall...

when i pull at the strands

 

the first one is for forgiveness

which i should know and hold

forgiving and forgetting...

letting go

 

the second...

for love

which, if im lucky

one day ill find in life

 

the third is for me

who i am

how ill change myself

will i be the only one of my kind?

 

the fourth...

for friendship

ill keep the old ones close...

always

and new ones will be made

 

the fifth petal is for faith...

the hope

for the dreams i believe

 

these 5 petals will always describe me...

what im meant to be...

who i am to become...

what i will see...
