things were going so well
then what struck me was fear
with an amount ill never tell

if i say im sorry
will you come back
as if it never happened before?

if i say i hate you
will you leave me
and keep my heart beat to the core?

what if i lied
said things would be ok
would you beat me to the floor

im in love with you
thats no lie
every night i lay in bed
i start to cry

i bow my head down
in cold wet tears
sleeping alone
wishing you were here


if i say i love you
and ment what i said
would you love me too
and we could start again?
