never have i thought i would fall for you
yet never did i think you could hurt me so bad
the moment we met i knew, or so i thought
you were the one

the one to take my hand in marriage
the one to hold me when im scared
the one to sing to me when i cant sleep at night
the shoulder to cry on
the one i could love

the path we traveled together
full of adventure witch no one witnessed
talking about how we would last forever

 

but boy, your just a country boy

one that everyone wants

and im a city girl

who doesnt know right from wrong

 

take your boots

get out of my life

your just a forgotten memory
