more than me

more than me

A Poem by just take a breath

gently you kiss my forhead
"dear girl i love you so"
you stick your hand in my pocket
"ill never let go"

though i am so young
so weak, and have so long
i know what things feel like
i know whats right and whats wrong

i pull farther away
but my legs wont move right
they stand firm in grip
the other half of me is feather light

i must go now
you will never know
how much i loved you
enough to let go

to forget all about you
to give you up
there is so much more too life
and so much more out there

one day you will find her
amazing beyond belief
beautiful smile
and worth so much more to you
so much more than me

The poem remind me of a Irish tale. Take wisdom to know love is not right and escape.

A strong ending to a excellent poem.
