It's wearing thin.

It's wearing thin.

A Poem by Edgar Perez
"

My downtown walking embraces all grace.

"
So distant, so unbelievable.
I walk in darkness and no light follows.
I will be here, and
you will be there.

Thinking deeply in ourselves.

And although we don't acknowledge our existence.

I will go my way, please be safe..
It's a cold night, and your shirt looks thin, like the ice in my chest, melting, leaving...

With your silence, with your mystery, with your sad eyes, and my attention.

-Edgar Perez.

Strangers passing by one another, buried in their own world of thoughts without acknowledging each-other's presence, and yet in silence you reach out from a darkened path, in a shade of light, you meet halfway through. There's a glimpse of a quiet affection and an offer of hope intended for better ways in regards to a stranger's existence on a path opposite your own, of which you shall never tread. A heart can accommodate all.. I'm glad to have stopped by. Your poetry is real lovely. :)

Saddly Beautiful...love it

Your words are truly remarkable my friend, each time, I read them, their soft touch of real life, mixed with beautiful observations, awestruck me to the bone... you are a sketcher of life, and love... nothing more beautiful, there is, to express it like you can in art. The distance is felt, the thought whirls still, but is about to land.... your caring heart shall embrace the void of each and everyone. For as long there are thoughts, nobody is alone... nobody is.... it's platonic. A real beautiful piece of writing. 100/100 mahalo's, and more.
