I Am No KillerA Poem by Edgar Perezday dreaming with the gods.~I Am No Killer~ The moment was here, I looked him in the eyes. Behind me the scene. The day when I saw the city in flames! Trembling pressure knowing I had not done it. But still he needed to please his crowd, so I yelled in silence. I am no killer!!!!! The look of deception troubled his view! so i rushed, and i pushed him! We were standing on the ledge, rocks and dryness, as if we were in Israeli cliffs! The day continued, no one remembered the life of the, "almost was!" The night dropped and so did my feelings, the loss of my brother struct me like an arrow, the arrow of William Tell. But the memory graced me, and again I whispered. I am no killer. I am no killer. The weak night I fled from the scene, I returned to ignite the flame of discrete. Fingers pointing but I had no clue why. My brother appeared with a spear in his hand. The voice of a thousand men clinching like teeth, the wrath he promised when he whispered it to me. YOU ARE THE KILLER! I yelled as I said: I AM ONLY A PROSE LOVE WRITER! The prose that I write are too personal I cannot read them to anyone. If the blood that they shed ran like the ink that I spill than forgive my case, and be-love my memory,
oh brother don't…. don't. Please don't. Edgar Perez. © 2013 Edgar PerezAuthor's Note
