houses

houses

A Poem by rockface

house upon house
i walk the streets
like a lost mouse
searching for cheese

something sour swells
in the minds of the trees
when i walk
from street to street

lagging along on a long asphalt road
hearing the crickets and the toad in the woad
the sky destroying the scene it showed
natures lies are a secret code

It's a comforting feeling when one walks the streets by themselves. I love doing this and looking at all the different houses in my neighborhood. I also have the chance to breathe nature and be one with myself. Lovely write :)
