her she has dreamt her darkened dreams grasped the shadows of her wants need slipped from her hand, deed left her sanity to his profanity, knelt not for dignity, and but lay in sweated rut for nothing in return save for silence is that, gratuity enough? him revelling in his superiority a triumphant pant gratifies his lust, tumescence foregone the wonder never wanted satiation required honesty denied, what need of him for dreams sanguine thoughts of token thrusts, currency enough as his sweat rimed pornography of lust burns her quiet dreams to dust epilogue for her payment in kind but that a contradiction she has no parallels to form objectivity this is her life, should this then be hers for the term of, what is the after? no escape from a midday matinee of existence even the clothes she washes have no dreams no lace, velvet or silk mundane, pattern-less and shaped by duty turned grey by careworn drudge, she sees no benefit in breath only there to be more of the same death holds no fear nor blame no sweet young life but barren womb schemes and love have left not a sign only vacancy, bereft , her lusts are only for the tomb © 2008 RobwillsReviews
