WISHING

WISHING

A Poem by Rob Taylor

Beyond the dark of deep vast space

Beyond the farthest mankind has seen

A cloud of mist which creation left

Has slowly gathered in one place

Twisting turning, a rushing flow

As dust moves into the heart

The cloud of mist is now a star

Heat produced from the forming mass

With passing time begins to shine

The dark of night time cannot hide

The new star’s sparkle in the sky

Ah maybe not, but if you do

Make a wish which may come true

This may be the star for you

[Just You]

I love to watch the stars - and knowing a little of the science doesn't seem to make them sparkle any less - the universe is big.
