Where Butteerfly

The Butterflies I see in flight

Just outside my window there

Sun glows down upon silver wings

With closer look so cleary seen

Are rainbow colors blue and green

Red and yellow, yes so many

colors bright are seen

If wings I had, I would look to find

A secret place I could call mine

That only butterflies may know

Where I could be so all alone

To cry, to laugh, remembering,

a long time past

Yesterdays, where have you gone

Birds land from flight, to sing their songs

Above clouds wind blown powder puffs

I see the colored butterflys

Please help me find a place to rest,

where I can be as you, and be reborn

You've given a clear sense of the need for that special place where we are safe, that belongs only to us and no one else.
