Everyone Gets Them

I heard him speak, yes I really did,

He said, I got a tickle,

it's right here, he said,

as he pointed to his middle,

which was so big he could not miss,

Not even pointing, with just one finger.

I said 'No' maybe it's not a tickle,

Maybe it is just a little bitty tiny itch,

Elastic bands can do just that you know,

from sliding up and down on something

Like that belly there, so very round, so big.

He smiled, then gave me one huge laugh,

As fingers rubbed his tickling itch,

He nodded once, then grabbed his sack,

Jumped into his sleigh, still rubbing itch,

Laughed one more time, and that was that.
