Confessions I

Confessions I

A Poem by Robert Ross

Articulation as through soup
vegetables, pious entrails of beast.

Specificity in gnashing matter
thrown, protracted height soaring.

Compliance is absolute laughter
internalized, grief a statuesque body.

Retaliation comes but once in a while
mortal, priced with a gun at wholesale.

Rejoice in life
He isn't coming, nor invited.
