Shall I wait?

Shall I wait?

A Poem by Robert Ross

got me bothered
a voice of reason;
treasonous villainy,
saintly presence vacated!
eyes peeling paint
enhancing nerve ending...
disquieting words and palpitations;
listening, overheard
oh lucid painting!
left!
Left hanging!

A picture in sound,
and no sound in picture...
disjointed mass of cabling,
cellular, texting, emotive warbling!

left!
Left hanging!

A reverse image
coming in to focus...

he lay there...
left!
Left hanging!
