Happy Birthday

It's my Birthday!!

Yay-yay-yay!!

Presents to open

and wondering what

people are going to

show up in.

The cake has blown

a fuse because of the

number of years

that make me known.

I finally realized

that another day

might pass, but

this day of mine

is one wish:

to stop time.

Is it actually your birthday? If it is, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Haha, I love the humor and the excited atmosphere. I get similar feelings on my birthday as well...which is not too away btw. I could relate quite a lot, with your succinct stanzas and all that happiness we get to share with others. Birthdays are indeed a reminder of how special we are, and how time flies. It was fun to read how you roughly put down all your feelings here. Keep writing.
