Pretty Princess

Pretty Princess

A Poem by Heather Clayton

She has long, pretty plaits in her hair

She owns an Apaloosa mare

She has a plethora of purple dresses

She makes a pile of dirty messes

She wears a picallo around her neck

She has a peacock in the back (yard)

Everywhere she goes people stare

She wears plumeria to share

Yes, Please and No, Ma'am she says

And put that back! her mom begs

I laugh, mainly for the reason this feels like it is more about a daughter (whom are always of Royal blood in the eyes of their parent's) than a crowned peer. Made me giggle and think of little kids playing princess.
