Let Love

Let Love

A Poem by Robin
"

Love at its very best

"
Oh! Let love sink its teeth in me.
Let it caress my soul and reach the very depths of me
May it fondle my ears and trickle off my nose
Saturate my skin like the rains from above.

Let it travel to the very bowels within
nurturing and curing pains from long ago.
Healing the wounds caused by a world torn apart .
May loves teeth make me yearn for more, make me see clearly what's in store.
Oh! Let love sink its teeth in me.

Drowning completely, crashing down.
Swirling, oblivious of whats all around.
Freely, completely trusting in the sting
That uninhibited love will bring.

My soul is caressed. I'm completely entranced.
No longer immobile with fear. It's teeth are hooked and deep within.
Oh! Love has sank it's teeth in me.

An uplifting piece that feels celebratory. You vary the meter and the rhyme though so some crafting perhaps?

Thank you poetic
wow, i loved this one, so much powerful imagery and language used in this all adds to how passionate this piece sounds. really do like the idea of love sinking it's teeth into someone, it's quite unusual and sounds painful, but it isn't, it's just the opposite. overall i really enjoyed this poem.
