Going on my way...A Poem by Robin Thomas... you know when its time....
The neighborhood once was Home-
a place for love and laughter- security and happiness everywhere. Through time and neglect and apathy, Home became a desert- barren wasteland. All the things that gave it life-dead. The abandoning was difficult -- Almost suicidal in its emptiness. With no hope on the horizon. Loaded wagons and crying children, missing pets and lost toys-- forced into the great unknown. Pioneers to the undiscovered country. Strange creatures- nashed teeth. Deep and Dark and Daunting. Perseverance. Set your jaw and go. Survival of the quickest. There's no crying in self- preservation. Only sheer will ... guns and armor ... protection for an unshakable spirit. © 2014 Robin ThomasAuthor's Note
