SHADES OF SKY

SHADES OF SKY

A Poem by Marie
"

Aspects of the sky...

"

Blue as the flash of a bird’s wing

Pink as the heart of a rose

Flaming with scarlet or silver as ice

Clouds stacked in white velvet rows

Storm dark and sullen with shadow

Then spread with rainbow-hued light

Glory of gold sweeps the morning

Mystery spangles the night.

I saw the title and had to choose this as my introduction to your work, Marie. This is both beautiful and surreal, like the photo.

Brilliant. What a realistic picture of evening sky. I often have tea in our balcony and admire sky's beauty. It's exactly like your poem.

This is lovely, Marie. The sky is my favorite thing about south Florida.
