I enjoyed this although I'm sort of a morning person! What I found intriguing was that you had ALL CAPS for the first line (which implies yelling on social media) and the next line was that the birds are too loud. Cute! I liked that.

Mam your poem is actually quite different and presents a different picture of early morning which is mostly appreciated by earlier poets, which is quite impressive.Would have like to read if it was a little long
Lol! I know a lot of people who would agree with this, Marie - a fun write here! Personally, I am up by 5 every morning, and the birds make me smile... :)

i have felt like this enough mornings...like the scene in Romeo and Juliet...it's lark, the herald of the morn...and she says come back to bed, it's the nightingale----but no, it's the damn lark...and time to face the reality of the next day.

I have neither larks nor nightingales in my vicinity, just sparrows.
