RIVER

RIVER

A Poem by Marie
"

Description of a rover.

"

Swirling dark and deep and slow,

Golden brown and jade you flow

Over rocks and under sky

Nourishing the land nearby

Winding through a bank of weeds

Carrying the living seeds

Home to beaver, trout and bream

Coolness in a forest dream.

THank you.
~You never disappoint with your poems Marie. This speaks in a voice that shares what at first is not seen. Your diction is excellent here.~
