So, you reveal yourself as a mystic. I too had a whole series of prophetic dreams when I was about ten. They were about silly little details and added up to nothing except maybe that I then knew for sure such things happen. Many years later I had an important prophetic dream but I didn't know it was and it didn't change anything. Cassandra couldn't change anything either. Back to your poem. I enjoyed it a lot. Most of the time, I think, nightmares come from a tummy ache, which is better than coming from whoever that is in the image.

Some people have prophetic dreams, but I am not one. I do often suffer from nightmares, the worst being that I can't find my cell phone...

If that's the worst you are probably going to be ok. We've been struggling along for hundreds of thousands of years without cell phones. Now, if you lose your computer and you have to go back to writing with a pencil ...

I dreamt of the name of a horse once and I saw it running at a track some weeks/months later. I told my friends about the dream and they just looked at me as if my head buttoned up from the back!
It won and I won several shiny new pounds - they were all gutted lol. Never had another though >:(

I agree Marie theres definitely something in the dreams that wants us to know its there.

I think you're on to something, Marie.
Dreams may be viewed as subconscious self-talk--and the subconscious does pick up many things the conscious mind doesn't. "Forewarnings" are entirely possible.
"...Perchance to Dream..." is a snappy little item, good poetess.

THank you. I do see dreams as coming out of the subconscious and not really prophetic, though you are right that the buvconscious minds knows a lot more than we realize...
