WISH FOR 2015

WISH FOR 2015

A Poem by Marie
"

A New Yea's WIsh

"

May everyone be published

In this upcoming year,

Not suffer writer’s block"

A poet’s greatest fear.

May editors encourage,

Be pleasant, kind and nice,

And not send out form letters,

The kind we all despise.

May you write bestsellers,

Be hailed in history;

May W/C load faster

(good luck with that!)

I certainnly hope it wil be true.
This one brought a big smile. And may all your wishes come true. The last is classic. I well remember my account being lost, also. Taught me a very good lesson in my computer writing habits. I now have all my material backed up in two places "before" WC receives its first line of poetry.
Happy and prosperous New Year, Marie.

This is very well written. Oh and i do agree, writers block is absolutely the worst thing to suffer. I would love to read more poems like this from you, truly talented!

Thanks. I am not truly talented. However, you'll be reading a lot more poems from me.
yes, good luck with WC loading faster, for sure....love this, Marie...especially the part about editors being encouraging, kind and nice...

once i got a rejection from an editor and it only had one word written on it in quotation marks: "NOPE"

Brilliantly witty Marie - laughing here.
The end part about WC loading - I thought it was only my connection that was suffering.
