Another

Another

A Poem by Robert Bean

Another

Another rose, whose thorns leave me bleeding
so beautiful and frail
but strong enough to make me cry with pain
the deep red stains my forever
like blood drops on silk
maybe to fade with time
but a reminder shall always be floating
like a sliver on a smooth lake
peaceful until stirred by a restless wind
