Onward

Onward

A Poem by Robert Bean

Onward

I keep waiting for that one
knowing the few aren't going to be her
but I am not blessed with patience
and my sex drive is too strong
so I settle into things
which arent right or wrong
but temporary and fleeting
for me
I keep waiting for that one
that will understand nothings perfect
except for her eyes, and smile
and our love
which shall make the temporary
seem like a fleeting moment
of the forever I want to spend
lost in the soul
of the one I am waiting for
