How do I feel?

Reflection Poem

How would I know?
All I know is what I have been told
Get back up it doesn’t hurt
Tighten up that upper lip
Take it like a man
Don’t act like a Girl
No matter what:
Show no sign of weakness
Give No Ground
Fight until you Die
Never leave fellow man down
Life is about Honor, Loyalty, Bravery
There is no time for guy to smell the daisies
You are what you do
And valued by what you make
Yet, hear I stand wondering
Why is it in my heart that feels so hurt?
Why is it that I can not sleep?
Why is it that I can not eat?
Why is it I want to die?
Why is it that I can not cry?
I guess now I know the reason why

This one really hit home for me. Having all these feelings and thoughts just squeezed into your mind, but not being able to let them out or act on them. Especially us guys, when poetry and most forms of artistic expression are seen as "wimpy". I loved the brutal honesty, it's nice to know someone else feels the same way. Great expression, don't let up.
