FirstsA Poem by Robby DeLucaAnother new poem. This one isn't a contest poem, but it's there, isn't it?I want to see you every day, But you just stroll away, I wished you would notice me, Mostly 'cause I'd love to be, The man who you will keep you warm, And the man who'll break the norms, Just to be at your side, Even if the river between us is wide, Because I love you, you see? That's why I am what I be, The man who wished for you to love him, Can't you hear the Seraphim? Now, you see, I have you, And you are more amazing than anyone who, Could ever be alive in this cold dreer world, So who could complain being warm, when the world is so cold. There is nothing I'd rather do, than be beside you, Because, again, I love you. You are my first everything, First kiss, First bliss, First love, My first great dove, And those are just some things I could say, And that is why I'm happy today, A good girl, Something hard to find in this creul world, A happy face, A small favor in this restless place, That is another reason I love you, dear, I want to hold you, close and near, There is nothing wrong with the world when you are around. And when I'm with you, your voice is the only sound, Thank you so much for being there with me, Filling my sinner's heart with glee, I love you, this I do, Thank you, My beautiful muse. © 2012 Robby DeLucaAuthor's Note
