On ReligionA Poem by Robby DeLucaJust my thoughts on religion and other belief systems in a poemThe stupidity of religion, And their thoughts on authority, Make me helpless to question, Our prosperity, When no matter what we do, All they say is "you'll go to Hell," Same as me or you? That's just what I can tell, Just because all these Holy Sinners Can make up all the rules, Just to patronize the breadwinners, The gospel singers and the fools, From the uppity Catholics, To the stuck up Mormans, To the foolish boot licks, And the sneaky w***e men, And if I don't wish to pray, Surely I will go Hell, And definitely if I don't pay, The Church because they mean well, Now, don't get me wrong, Don't send me away, Can we just get along, I pray every day, And you know, I quite like the Wiccans, They're very nice people, According to the Church, though, Satanist Pagans, And then their sheeple, Who listen like fools, Stand up and clap, just like the Sunday rules, and It just makes me want to slap, All those pious morons, With their stupid hats, And Sunday of Palms, While their members grow fat, On fish and wine And of course, Christ says, "That's fine" Could religion get any worse? And you know know, I don't think I'm kidding, Just to stop the show, I might become a Wiccan, At least they have decent standards, And on Fridays I don't have to eat cod, But then again, they don't like Colonel Sanders, And they definately don't believe in God.
