To The Invisible Streams Of Sparkling Waters

To The Invisible Streams Of Sparkling Waters

A Poem by Robert Robbie Lord Dudley

clear flows well around my moods in what direction

all over a ground my own bound to what to

on legs of fleeting feet i felt lost i felt found

then lost again looking on because to further myself

my own study so truely is like weather in Heaven

a wonderful brain for reasons why thou art full of beauty

and vision i was off in a breeze without hestitation

sometimes not long and not seldom on though

not hard to see so hard to say i began to find some start

on this brisk morning walk today ever done roaming

before in choice in heart in voice i don't always know so

oh may what was good now be best to want

i still am confident cautious in this i dreamt about

i fill out the test in hope to cope on a wish with

gloves on and gloves off my hands were warm and cold now

through thoughts disordered and untold that moves

and unfolds through my soul some place to be

while going through the trouble to let up on my own

battle that is the thing my own forlorn feelings are up

and down on brainwaves who knows i rows hence the boat

to shore well around my moods on a journey to

return home to the invisible streams of sparkling waters

clear flows here and back into the light blue

off the deep end again i leap out beyond the horizon

the many storied got me cutting out to my pedals on my bike

on my feet that dosn't bother me not any at all

much like a child that reads the footsteps oh fall gentle

across the pages seeks motherless fatherless homeless

aslike an orphan by choice in my life is no sense oh so there

was no going back until' the turning of the tides

the times without throughout her hugs or his momento

embracement in his hands on the shoulder thier older now

no kiss no touch on the face on the forehead no wish

no space no universal from her voice or his awhile nevermore

arose the unsuspecting heart is set and i went in thier good

spirits of a poem inner drive and still will love well around

on the hills without throughout the fields as though to escape

the great confines of clouds to seek for the peak of sunshine

on the mountains to climb endlessly high and as i

sure could use a new pair of shoes flying clouds blowing

passing are leaves and birds that dart and i can't wait

to reach up there those old feelings returning

that frees a dream that has gone unseen whereon

is the moon's halo somewhere alone there besides

the seafront or waterways warm seems as such surprise

to the invisable streams of sparkling waters

to the invisable streams of sparkling minds

flows again into my poem and i carry it on my back

a sad sack of poetry oh me we each hang out

on a branch leafless without throughout that night of dred

and drear i see it slightly cloudy unclear it might be

mom's face or dad's eyes astonishes therein me

the stars bright the moon glows closer to thee

to the great devine and shines on past times

open up again with some light in my head in my heart

and i write to let me be closer to thee to see to walk

a far out dream of heaven vision rising revealing because

i went and disappeared awhile as a child looking on

motherless fatherless homeless aslike an orphan

by choice life is rage at a very young age

going through a stage without her hugs with his momento

embracement in his hands on the shoulder thier older now

no kiss no touch on the face on the forehead no wish

no space no universal from her voice or his awhile nevermore

arose the unsuspecting heart is set and i went in thier good

spirits of a poem inner drive and still will love well i'm off again

as when i am so sick of it all in someways

in always they are thereupon a star giving downward

giving upward faces shinning in a poem

light thru this long journey homeward
