I LIKE THE EFFECT IT GIVES ME

i like the effect it gives me removes

by a walk outside i have at sunset

i notice the sky

the soft landscape

and the cold ice water is elusive

sparkling like light blue green running together

and the air is extronaire

so brisk, so keen

my eyes have seen i believe

right to my soul

right as i was walking

i like the effect it gives me

and it revitalizes

and lifts my spirits beyond

in the distance

in the long adventure

in the sudden appearance

by impressions made

in the breeze that carries 

in the long lost writings in the dark

back to my apartment

again i go to view my paintings

on the wall unsign'd and unfinish'd

oh, well up, out of my hand

out of my control

going out of the door

flew open fast in the wind

i felt it right to my soul

in the pain of what i was thinking

about something

i knew by now

it is not so certain

without me seeing, somehow, someway 

what's happening here

my chance to make

my hope entice me 

short work but sweet work

while here at home

because to find

other sense out of time

another feeling came through

i carry back with-in me

to the right place right to my soul

i put in a poem

i put in a penciled sketch

i put in my best

each foot forward out from 

short work, but, sweet work

around the block

up around the bend

to come by then some sense

where that come from

waiting long, pressing on to see
