FIELD OF SEEDLINGS

FIELD OF SEEDLINGS

A Poem by Robert Robbie Lord Dudley

a field of seedlings stand all in rows

with songs of songbirds mingling

and wind hinted with pine follows

to where patches of woods encircles

a field of seedlings colorful blossomtime

birds fly above all thumped up on love

i'm sittin' readin' feedin' the tender fire

in my head to wonder to really enjoy

comfort from the cold as the ice

and snow lets go calms me

something glowing purple now i see

the significance of sight the sense

of rather how i so filled with broken clouds

can't keep still everything will turn

suddenly joyful for one name

when heard to there in a hurry in every word

rolling diggin' fire ridin' thunder off the curve

am here in a fury of passion

face to face it just happens

for one name for one flamehold burnin' wanna say

save me a place close when away

i know not how those purple streams

of flowers flows glows blue so calming still

everthing will and i go like some do

as a flocking mess i guess you don't mind

you like these lines of words

of straight energy right out of the air

little play little songbirds told me

all soft and clear spoke on my ear these words

here together we go so good to do

made massive clouds thrown into the sun

the thick secrets you and i sometimes reveal

when in want of something

of the same to feel to know to step in

those purple streams of flowers flow so warm

so soft near my thoughts near my home

twisted rose vines with hands

in soil made to open rhines

trees nuts fruits meat love eat bitter leaf

that blooms so high in left brain sky

to shine to find a place to hide

that dosn't bother each other's eyes

'cause us and one plus

made the test in fresh of Spring

make a change as lips reach stars on kisses

warm air spins lifting on wings opening

nothing hidden inside my feelings

here on high tones strung together in cords

formed of the heart oh will soar very far

out of sorrows we'll begin again

all of the joys dawning

onward lifts forward every bird

every word sounds a noise

on the air big and bold will enjoy

our life our love to unfold folded wings

a field of seedlings stand all in rows
