When Darkness Falls Hard

When Darkness Falls Hard

A Poem by Robert Robbie Lord Dudley

Communicates not verbal

Transpire

Transcend

Great

Grand

Excellent

Understand

I'm upset

So silent

Strong at the bottom out in the wind

Up and out by somehow

Beating out time

few still do

I'm looking on over

At the breaks

Sunny stars

Just for roses sent away

When darkness

Falls hard

Something's after rain

I feel it in my chest

In this sunset

A long, long wind

Short dark waves

That dark night

In this day

At chances

Come on

Let's book down to it now

That can make me

Keeps me going moving on

Rising upon

In every song

Returns deeper quietly clouds

In another world

I'm holding on

I'm passing on

Before storms very soon weeps

When darkness

Falls hard

Something's after rain

I feel it in my chest

In this long, long wind

Short Dark waves

That dark night

In this day

At chances

Come on

Let's book down to it now

Wrapping around

Wrapping gone

Gripping

Pieces gladly

Gracefully so

Dances in it

Knowing

Is in my situation

In one drop

That can be

Then could be

An ocean mystery found

Left me just believing

Into the mist of

An untangled shadow

Just dangling free

Reaching out

Who is saving you

And I see

The sky's above

And the water is

Into its finest

Extensively made

Of all things lost

Climbing and still

Unforgettable still

A slow catch on

Within a ball

While sleeping deeply

And lays upon

Another hill

A slow walk by

Going over

Hills moving mountains

Light with energy

From a lonely

High memory tower

From a long boat

From a long rowboat

And I saw

In the grass below

As the mystery upon was

Understanding is

A flower reflecting

Lifting my hand

Lifting my heart up

When the darkness

Falls hard

Something's after rain

I feel it in my chest

In this sunset

A long, long wind

Short Dark waves

That dark night

In this day

At chances

Come on

Let's book down to it now

Off the road

Of other memories

I'm writing it

Out enough I guess so escapes

in my abode

I can't help it

It is so dismal all is so sad

in my dismay

What time is it here has

When darkness

Falls hard

Something's after rain

I feel it in my chest

In this sunset

A long, long wind

Short Dark waves

that dark night

In this day

At chances

Come on

Let's book down to it now

Looking really like

My pillow to follow me

Grow perfect, chirps

play set up

So good been two

Each

White

Paper moons

Won't miss moments

Don't dwell, oh

Pretty soon

That's beautiful

Time's soft

Upon the sheets drawn down

Of Winter afternoons

I'm still there

Doesn't describe

Another valley

It's always changing

The meaning

It's showing up half right thru it

Searching out

To trace some back again

If I wanted it done incomplete

I'm still there

Doing that

And seeing what

All the times

Going over

Hills moving mountains

Light with energy

Certain to enlighten

Oh, my heart

And my head

Going over unhinges

These words places

Together have been

Remaining a puzzle

Into the same vessel so square

Beating out time

comuncates not verbal

Transpire

Transcend

Great

Grand

Excellent

The snowflakes will blow

So special

Falling again

And forming

By chilling out now's news that clashes

I'm looking into music

Going over

At the heavy swells starts so low

At the petals flying

Oh, my heart crying out

And my head was so glad

Going over

Hills moving mountains

Light with energy

And will it matter

How I put my pencil

Let it out so much

Standing thereby

Too close alongside

Hanging down

Floats on by

When the darkness

Falls hard

Something after rain

I feel it in my chest

In this sunset

A long, long wind

Short Dark waves

That dark night

In this day

At chances

Come on

Let's book down to it now

How deep feels

How red turns blue

To here and there

Sitting at my colors

Pages that had seen it, to depart

And nothing can beat soul

Oh, my heart crying out

And my head was so glad

Going over

Hills moving mountains

Light with energy

And will it matter

How I put my pencil

And still let me try, try again

Beating out time

When the darkness

Falls hard

Something's after rain

In this sunset

A long, long wind

Short Dark waves

That dark night

In this day

At chances

Let's book down to it now

Wrapping around

Wrapping gone

Gripping

Pieces

Gracefully not

Dances in it

Knowing is in

Wondering

What brings your's there

So swiftly up

I thought you knew

communicates not verbal

Transpire

Transcend

Great

Grand

Excellent

I'm upset

So silent

Strong at the bottom out in the wind

I'm looking up

At the breaks

To try next time stinks

Just for roses O' to sent away

When darkness

Falls hard

Something's after rain

I feel it in my chest

On this long, long wind

Short dark waves

That dark night

In this day

A passing glance wreaks

Holding upon, but in open air

Riverside buds

Rosed upon here, there

Something outspoken for flowers can.

Turns to reach out and burns candles

Passionate scenes bounces

from a sweet lonely cry

How high a memory tower

"I'm looking on
At the breaks
For roses"

This is a pretty sweet choice of words, and I think you should keep on doing whatever you're doing in the pursuit of making more poetry. Thanks for the read!
