FIGHTING THE CLOUDSA Poem by Robert Robbie Lord Dudleywhen the day is done when the night comes on for love sake pull up downhill underfoot on petals each other sweetly a drummer and a dreamer
as-liken i never did this before the glance onward after we gone over at the point been taken i want something different in my soul pressing myself
fighting the clouds seeing all the little stars fly each are burning bright in the sky
through the long long dark dark road go through the short short dark dark path stop
if that is the case brings focus for you anyhow for me now we're close now we're close now we're almost home though i swum blind
as-liken a bird in the grass in the sunshine free hanging on by some ways in that's my last one to a clearer day jaded tired through fightin' alone as-liken a shiny button
a-dangling humbled hopeful thinking moving in need of repairing and how i dare to do it myself by some ways far-out as spoken and in an uneasy silence and it was getting so because
it goes on and will incline straight up to decline although the clippings are for you to see are lagging behind everso of back and beyond to paste to clearly show, oh, there-on wasn't improving much
through the high high dark dark road go through the low low dark dark path stop
as-liken a tree in the field leaning over, reaching down what a beautiful, foolish thing to see, to climb, to think
we will find for everything's going cold through balancing without embracing as we were all for all twice soaring and falling i there-in the haste wanted it
another cup of delight another cup of coffee in these experiences growing brung me swung me soaring and falling
across the great waters of love is roaring at sight bestows of a tear drop to do nothing now after much ado in tiny boats of flowers flung
when the day is done when the night comes on for love sake pull up downhill underfoot on petals each other sweetly a drummer and a dreamer
