I Didn't Hear It Fall

I Didn't Hear It Fall

A Poem by Robert Robbie Lord Dudley

A life well lit

A pot on a shelf

Sometimes falls

I didn't hear it fall

A blue-gray cloud

Hanging around

A closer look

A flower grew

As little as a-cactus

To stick out through

I'll task, today many

The last part

Can I see

Something else

I'm indifferent

My desires then

Still there fits

Explaining still

Expanding still

The search

The quiet water deep

The bright light

The colorful flutter

Through thunder

I'll laugh, today

Rain and lightning

In my pocket

In a moment

I want to be seeing

Around, so fond

I could not speak

Don't look now thicker

The air, the mist, that brick

The past feeling of us

Falls back into place

Picture first if

Only the image

We done this day unclear

When everything

Is just like the last

Bright wing blinding me

Burning quickly out

Imagining above

Everywhere flinting ends

Lightness of heart

By all of our

Compassion spark

By all of our

Yesterday's new

Now flickers abouts

A rainspout

Bringing between

An endless list

To amend each saw

Every stitch works

We had done

O' what to do

Becomes apart

I know the ground

this is how

I found you

Fading, decaying, too.

An interesting poem. I think you meant apart instead of a part...Bravo
