The fact that you called this mockingbird yet it treats a non-nature theme is surprising and fresh. I like also how you appropriate another poetic form within the haiku, talking about sonnets and verse, that's extremely innovative and interesting. The subtexts of time and accusation beneath this spare group of syllables is powerful indeed. Nicely done.
