Old PhotoA Poem by RevolvedOld Photo
A poem by Rachel I stare at the photo The old black and white photo To see her there, Alive and free I stare and stare At the old photo Wishing somehow She was right besides me My lips quiver Holding in the tears My throat hurts and my eyes turn watery like the sea I miss her so Never will say aloud Miss my sister Only wish she was here with me I stare at the old photo Just staring at the picture Watching the colors fade And watch as the life go The last picture of her A very old photo Before she died Before I had to know Mom told me a day before That my little sister, Was already dying But it's too late she's already dead So I stare at this old photo Of her when she was young She was already gone Just like what mother had said © 2010 RevolvedAuthor's Note
