A Ghost of Thin Air

A Ghost of Thin Air
A poem by Rachel

The dead and the living
into one room
A ghost of thin air
is right in front of you

You cannot see her
You only breathe her in
She smiles wickedly
As she takes away your sin

The dead and the living
She is all you cannot see
An angel you may call her
An angel she will be

Though she is a ghost
nothing less
Even though she provides good
And more love and air in your chest

The ghost of thin air
She is young and gone
She whispers in your ear
"You won't be here for long"

Her breath is ice
And her voice is heaven
 She loves your sin
Even though she's only eleven

The dead and the living
into one room
Do not be scared as you hear her snicker
A snicker of a bristling broom

I love the imagery in this poem! I also like the originality you put into the whole concept of ghosts, and angels! The repetition made it even more interesting! Awesome job!
