A Poem by Reece Butler
"

Have you ever walked past someone and felt how dead the air between you was?

"
Have you ever walked past someone and felt how dead the air between you was? I run from the sensation of physical complacency, but sometimes it is all I can feel. Have you ever measured distance in dead air? It turns minutes into miles, and balloons the smallest nanosecond into yards upon yards of spoiled memories and stale promises. I knew that trust breaks when you don't allow it to bend, but I did not think it would cloud my irises and hunch my walk. I did not think another's jealousy and malice could turn our paces into years. I am sorry. This was not your fault.

I know it's super short, but I would love some feedback.
