God Bless WomenA Poem by matelotrodGod Bless Women It has taken over seventy years but now I feel that I should raise A flag to every lovely woman, it is time that I sang their praise As man matures he begins to see the importance of la-femme When he approaches old age he knows that all depends on them.
If he would look back through his life the truth will become clear He would not have achieved any success without the one held dear Yes he may probably be stronger and can perhaps endure more pain It should be clear to every man that it is the woman who has the brain
They seldom make any mistakes they appear to be guided from above They raise the family, pamper the man and treat them all with love They ensure that the male is smartly dressed, enhancing his appearance If there is something that he longs to do then she will give him clearance.
It has taken me so many years to analyse the lovely female gender Now I’ve grown wiser with my age and find women warm and tender Now when I make some stupid move and find that I am in a muddle Within seconds my loving wife appears and supports me with a cuddle
I rest my case, what more can I say, the woman will always rule Any sensible man that cannot see this I’m afraid is nothing but a fool Women have a way of organising so that they always achieve the best So I’ll say once more I love them all; now I’ll let the subject rest.
