         Sickness Solaria

I am aware the age of illnesses is approaching very quickly

I suppose I should be thankful I’m alive

I have had a very healthy life and rarely have been sickly

That can’t be bad for a man of seventy-five.

If you pay visits to your Doctor he will award you many ills

Please believe me this will come as no surprise

Your leisure time will be taken up swallowing a multitude of pills

You could almost call it The Pill-itzer prize.

I know the Doctor means well but is he really paying heed?

I think that he should pay more attention

He said I had age related illnesses and prescribed the pills I’d need

A cure for illnesses that I didn’t mention

The average ancient drugster ingests about twenty pills a day

Prescribed by his well-meaning young GP

My advice to you is follow your heart and throw them all away

It will work for you as it did for me.

Horay to you. Follow what the body tells you. You've lived with it longer than your young GP. You alone knows how it works! Follow your instincts I say! Another good write. Keep it up!
