Sickness SolariaA Poem by matelotrodJust a joke.Sickness Solaria I am aware the age of illnesses is approaching very quickly I suppose I should be thankful I’m alive I have had a very healthy life and rarely have been sickly That can’t be bad for a man of seventy-five.
If you pay visits to your Doctor he will award you many ills Please believe me this will come as no surprise Your leisure time will be taken up swallowing a multitude of pills You could almost call it The Pill-itzer prize.
I know the Doctor means well but is he really paying heed? I think that he should pay more attention He said I had age related illnesses and prescribed the pills I’d need A cure for illnesses that I didn’t mention The average ancient drugster ingests about twenty pills a day Prescribed by his well-meaning young GP My advice to you is follow your heart and throw them all away It will work for you as it did for me.
