Masqueraded

Masqueraded

A Poem by RL Valdez

And puzzles of my flight began to sway again
To shelter the passion of what my heart desire
Through animating the creations of my mind
To deal what they wish to see for the future past.

The race to the end of line with dim candle light
Rained with hurdles, with falls trying to halt the fight
But neither of the foot ever fell on each knees,
Both stood in valor to face the catastrophe.

And though puzzles created to have good riddance,
True fondness for the farthest star had been kept locked
To not displease whoever tries to solve each lies
And to close this chosen pave with colorful bright.

So then, behind this facade shown by my puzzles,
Shadows of reminiscence peeked out in silence
To at least unleash the reality of dreams
That's still hiding in each pretensions of my act.
