JabberWocky JookerieA Poem by R. L. IvesLiterary nonsense.
Peer into my mind...
Letters being swirled into a vortex, struggling to join hands as Gulliver's finger turns thoughts into a wordpool. Quite a monu'mental effort For such a senti'mental fool. Taming these beasts of thought, words run scared from the tip of my pen, and come to perch on the lines of my paper, like cormorants on a wire. Doodles looking like so much pigeon poo. I doodle when I'm thinking. How doodle you doodle too? The eyed's of March have seen enough of winter's sunless gloom. Be done and away frozen writer's blocks. And I'll say... It's alright. Here comes the sun, And it says, we're alright. © 2013 R. L. IvesAuthor's Note
