Why?

Why?

A Poem by Reggie
"

A poem about a bear killed by a passing car and about our baby cow that is sick :(

"

Why did it have to be him?

He wasn't bothering anyone.

Simply minding his own business,

Just puttering along.

Why weren't you watching?

He was big enough to see.

You were driving too fast,

On the wrong road, at the wrong time.

He was someone's father!

Someone's mighty protector.

He was king of the hive,

He was king of the river.

Why I ask you again?  Why?

Why are you hurting him?

He is just a young baby.

So helpless and inexperienced,

But sure to put a smile on your face.

Why don't you pick on someone your own size?

He is much bigger then you.

With one step you would be crushed,

If only he could fly too.

He is someone's child!

Someone who needs protection.

He is king of the barn.

He is king of the pasture.

I simply ask you why?

The why that we always ask of ourselves, we mean for God. Do we really have the right? He reminded Job what a work was His creation, nor did He need our help. How much more difficult the construction of our lives, or the function of His creation; Its all a matter of His will. This is a great poem. You still need to get your own site.
