Rain Drops From HeavenA Poem by Reggie
Dark clouds hover over the sky, A storm is on the brinks.
The wind slowly picks up, You can almost smell the rain.
Little drops of water, Fall from heaven above.
Each getting more dense then the last, As a pour starts to break out.
The dirt on the road, Is finally washed away.
The water sinks into the soil, All the plants hunger no more.
The rain slows down, And the sun peeks out.
It is finally over, There's satisfaction without a doubt. © 2008 Reggie |
