Spring Me

Spring Me

A Poem by Einstein Noodle

baby blue softly folded into
cotton  clouds
bourbon drenched
sugar cubes torched by
body warmed winds

would you come with me?

buds of promise firm
supple stems move as
spring waters over
rocks jagged
translucent film
suspends us

join me

dancing flitting flirting fireflies
cheeky kisses of faeries
thousands of them raspberry buzzings
flushed with hungry root
everything we need,
everything we want is
down below.

we break the rocks,
bind the spells,
take the gems

growing together you and i
entwining vines

reaching.

Love it, love it, love it E.! “Spring Me” too- right now! Delightfully spring-y, lyrical, vital, sensuous and alogether ‘ ‘happy-fying’ poem...eloquent language and colorfully fresh imagery jumps off the page and double- entendres tickle the senses. “Entwining vines..reaching”- ahhhh yes... Splendid write.

You sure know how to woo a girl right out of her shoes! My, my, now I know how butter feels when it hits the toast! ...from the dancing of "flitting flirting fireflies", I knew this was going to find a place in my heart.

...and it did! x

Definitely one of the best of yours I've read so far! This is brilliant & lofty & crammed with awesome imagery. The bouncy eagerness that's coming across in waves makes this an irresistible invite. I've had the writing "blahs" lately & this inspires me to shake off the lethargy & try to do something with a little buoyancy myself someday soon. I've honestly never read a springtime poem that conveys more of a contagious anticipation. This afternoon our springtime starts with 80* days for the next week or so. Please let's have no more almost-frosty mornings that require a fire in the woodstove! I'm tired of having black knuckles (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Did enjoy.... I'll jump alongside you, to catch those cotton balls in baby blues....
Such gifts those rocks and growing greens, and sounds of bubbling chatting to over joying beings...

Spring..there is a chance at love and Life, once more..

Loving this !!!

I like the way you've placed adjectives with nouns, lending it a soft mystery to what's about to unfold in the next line. The result is a delectable combination of hedonism with romance, with nature and passion. Beautiful execution.
