God's Mistake or ImperfectionA Poem by R.J. SeoulJustifying why God needed Jesus from the Viewpoint of an AnimalTeach me how the ashes serve you. Share, with me, your mind. Explain to me, please, Afterthought, And your hope that's blind? Your race plays with one another, Fruitless laughter it enjoys. This we share, our races playful; Train me how to break my toys. For I was there when Cain killed Abel, Knotted fingers, Cain was blessed; Vengeance threatens if we kill him. Thanks to God, a tree undressed. For none can tame a life eternal Except for that which God forgot. Seven days and holy resting The being time, a
death for Your race plays with one another, Fruitless laughter it enjoys. This we share, our races playful; Train me how to break my toys. My shiny brother, gold emblazoned, A God for which you did not know. Moses chased him, melting fire, Burning bodies, cattle glow. A contradiction made for fixing, God’s killed that which he vowed not. A flood of sorts to drown the fire. The contradiction death has brought. Fixing problems - crucifixion Eternal life, the savior lends Hooves and chanting all of anger Was death a way to make amends? Your race plays with one another, Fruitless laughter it enjoys. This we share, our races playful; Train me how to break my toys. Teach me wisdom, give me knowledge, Allow me - a master’s slave, To walk upon the land unnoticed, Imperfections boasting: knave. For, if the trick to life eternal Is imperfections made to mend, How can life with imperfections Be viewed as the imperfect end? © 2011 R.J. Seoul |
