Let me taste some paranoia

On the tip of your sunburned tongue,

And revel in parallel worlds

Of hardship and ecstasy.

Let us fall into each other -

I'm the moth and you the flame;

Till the coldness wears off

Like a weary satin night dress.

Let me wake up in heaven,

Tired and teary eyed;

Let this warmth never fade

Into the darkness of the day.
