           An Ode To My Computer

Come hither and be damned! For I am not your slave! 
Oh, frustration, condemnation, my ignorance oblivious! 
Cold keys, Google me, SEO I do not know.
Optimize the screen, I see HTML, apps and history! 
Oh, Holy Web, optimize or be dead! 
Internet, emoticons, how many ‘likes’ have you? 
Browsing files, I know not your inner mind! Be kind! 
Email, all hail! Snail mail, goodbye, we cry. 
Fast is good!  Web says we could, we should.
Webcam diaries of strangers, dangers lurk.
Of mousepads and men who navigate the Netscape orange. 
An ode to thee, oh urls of wonder! 
Take me to the land down under! Lead me to each shiny sea, 
dot com to you, dot net to me. 
A pity you have dial up…
