Broken Wings

Broken Wings

A Poem by Broken girl

A tear drop fallin from the eyes of an angel

Into the hands of a demon

Throwing all clean into dirt

Hope being controlled by fear

Love being controlled by hate

Light being controlled by darkness

Happiness hung its own noose

She lays staring at her torn wings

Broken by the hands of what once fixed things

Loved the wordplay and imagery within your poignant poetry! If you don’t mind a suggestion to bring more drama and impact, perhaps revamping the stanzas as follows;

A teardrop
Falling from the eyes of an angel
Into the hands
Of a demon
Throwing
All clean into dirt

Hope
Being controlled by fear
Love
Being controlled by hate
Light
Being controlled by darkness

Happiness
Hung its own noose
She lays
Staring at her torn wings
Broken
By the hands of what once fixed things

Hope this enhances the write – and – you like my interpretation ... :-)
