Harlem Bird Flock

Harlem Bird Flock

A Poem by riskrapper
"

Happy Birthday James Baldwin some ornithological observations from Upper Manhattan

"

a living
volution

mass of
defined
moving
dimension

ribbons of
black flecks
flapping

folded and
furled

twisting
a bend

so slightly
contracting

upwards
it goes

unfurling
again

expanding and
broadening

towards a
direct swirl

river flowing
within itself

across the
Harlem sky
